Ryan Westerson
Ryan has now entered his third year as the CanPower Instructor for the Lethbridge Figure Skating Club. Ryan has competed is a graduate of the CanPower program as well as the Catholic Central High School Hockey Academy. Ryan has also attended many notable power skating clinics across Canada, including; The Dragon Lady of Winnipeg, MB, as well as Black Elk Hockey Camp in Okotoks, AB under Jim Fleming. Ryan has participated in Minor Hockey throughout his youth and has started coaching power skating to the up and coming Minor Hockey athletes. Ryan values power skating as a vital tool in improving any skater’s balance, agility, and technique. Through power skating, athletes will develop stronger Hockey/Ringette stances that are the core to success for all athletes. Through constant hard work and determination, Ryan will help each athlete perfect his/her abilities on the ice.
