Great skating skills are the key to a successful hockey player. Power skating programs enhance the skating skills that hockey players will need to compete at any level.

The LFSC offers the following power skating programs:

KIDSCANPOWERSKATE

- requires full hockey gear with stick

- MUST BE ABLE TO SKATE

- for beginner skaters in preparation for hockey

CANPOWERSKATE

- requires full hockey gear with stick

- minimum skating skill requirements:

- forward skating full length of ice

- backward skating full width of ice

- one stop

*NOTE: These programs are not ‘Learn to Skate’ programs.

All skaters must have basic skating skills.
